"Order"

Painted with professional grade acrylic paints and sealed with a matte varnish.

I paint in multiple layers, beginning with loose and colourful strokes that are organised in a balanced composition. When I am satisfied with the underpainting, I begin planning ways to organise the next layers of work using line and shapes to help balance and bring order to the painting. The finished intent is to bring the viewer into a personal investigation, encouraging their own ideas and interpretations of what they see through the windows of shapes. The colours seem to change with different shades of light throughout the day which opens new insights of the chaos behind the order.

The original painting is currently stretched and available in Australia, ready to hang. If this is purchased outside of Australia, it will be taken off the stretcher frame and rolled for shipping in a tube.
