"Shifting" series

This is a series of three acrylic paintings on A3 sized sheets of canvas. They are painted with professional quality acrylic paints and protected with a clear matte UV protection varnish.

These paintings show the evolution of my latest work in which the order that is shown in the composition has taken playful shifts. 

I have been painting in multiple layers lately, beginning with loose and colorful strokes that create a chaotic composition. When I am satisfied with the underpainting, I begin planning ways to organise the next layers of work using line and shapes to help balance and bring order to the painting. The finished intent is to bring the viewer into a personal investigation, encouraging their own ideas and interpretations of what they see through the windows of shapes. 

The size of each painting is A3, which is 11.7" x 16.5" or 297mm x 420mm.
